SCENERY based tour with some wonderful attractions.  A taste of the best awaits you on this tour as we venture into the highlands of Scotland. We visit the historic town of Dunkeld and take a walk in the forest to some lovely waterfalls. You have the option to visit one of the finest Whisky distilleries in Scotland. Alternatively, we can visit a fine castle or a bronze age Crannog and village or a wildlife reserve with loads more fantastic scenery etc.  See options below.  You also have opportunity to walk through a prehistoric standing stone circle and feel the energy! 

Then perhaps lunch at the oldest Inn in Scotland or a simple picnic lunch followed by a journey well off the beaten track and high into the mountains of Perthshire surrounded by stunning scenery and intriguing sites. A truly sensational and fascinating journey!

Additional Information:
  1. This tour is a full day excursion from Dundee or St Andrews area
  2. Suitable for most ages and abilities although please be aware a little walk is required which may not be suitable for people with walking difficulties. 
    Please check/advise in advance so we can adjust itinerary to suit.
  3. Good footwear and warm weather resistant clothing is recommended
  4. Tour Highlights:
    Exceptional Highland Scenery and rich agricultural farmland
    Visit the historic town of Dunkeld, walk in the forest to lovely waterfalls
    Tour of Dewars Aberfeldy Distillery and whisky tasting (default attraction unless advised otherwise)
    Lunch at an old Inn, see the Crannog on Loch Tay (Bronze age village)
    Visit a 5000 year old Yew Tree etc. 
  5. Optional attractions include;
    Visit the Crannog Centre (Bronze age dwelling and village)
    Visit the 16th Century Castle Menzies
    Visit the Crannog centre and bronze age village
    Visit a wildlife reserve and visitor centre  
    Visit Blair Castle and Queens View etc
