Enjoy a great day out with a private tour to Edinburgh (Auld Reekie)! The City is an amazing place filled with history, character and energy in abundance. There is so much to see and do here but we make sure you experience the best. We head east through the City of Glasgow and then into the heart of the Edinburgh City with a tour around all the special places of interest. You'll have opprtunity to visit a major attraction such as the Royal Yacht Brittania and/or Edinburgh Castle and/or Holyrood Palace together with a leisurely walking tour (optional) through cobbled streets, closes, wynds and courtyards of the old town with plenty opportunity to experience the ambience and vibrant energy. Perhaps lunch in a local pub/tavern followed by some free time to stroll. A truly mesmorizing day out especially during August when the Festival is in full swing.
This tour is a Full day excursion from Dundee or St Andrews area
Suitable for most ages and abilities although please be aware Old Edinburgh is built on a hill and the City/castle were not designed for easy access so, may NOT be suitable for people with walking difficulties. Please check/advise in advance so we can adjust itinerary to suit.
