We visit the historic village of Falkland and the Palace, 15th Century home of the Stuart Dynasty, including King James V and Mary Queen of Scots. The Palace is now one of Scotland's most valuable treasures and the village is also an extremely interesting place to explore. It was recently used for the filming of OUTLANDER, the US TV drama series. We also visit the Fife Fishing villages of Crail, Anstruther, Pittenween, St Monans, Elie etc. with plenty opportunity to explore these quaint little villages and experience their magical charm. We also tour the historic town of St Andrews and the village of Ceres plus many more sights of special interest. An altogether delightful day! This tour is a full day excursion from Dundee or St Andrews area
Suitable for most ages and abilities although please be aware the Palace and east neuk villages were not designed for easy access and may not be suitable for people with walking difficulties. Please check/advise in advance so we can adjust itinerary to suit.
