Stunning scenery based tour and great oportunity to search for Nessie, our legendary monster of the deep dark water of Loch Ness. The scenery on this tour is dramatic and simply stunning. The main attraction of the day is a visit to Urquhart Castle located on the banks of Loch Ness (optional). See below for the alternative attractions that we can visit such as the Nevis Mountain range or Culloden Battlefield etc. Our route from Edinburgh takes us by the Kelpies (the tallest manmade sculptures in the UK, and another of our legendary water monsters). You will also see Stirling Castle, the Wallace Monument, Doune Castle (film location for Monty Python and the OUTLANDER TV series), the Highland town of Callander, Rannoch Mhor, Buachaille Etive Mor, Glencoe, Fort William, Fort Augustus, Loch Ness, Inverness, Pitlochry and the historic town of Dunkeld etc! A very long day but a truly fascinating journey! Lunch and refreshment stop on route!
