Enjoy a wonderful interactive tour around the beautiful East Neuk of Fife, an area otherwise known as a 'Strip of Gold on a Beggar's Mantle'. We take you on a journey through the lovely rich agricultural landscape, along small lanes and roads off the beaten track, where large tour buses cannot go. We visit some of the most beautiful and charming villages in Scotland and stop frequently on route to ensure you have good opportunity to absorb the magical charm of the area, You have opportunity to walk around, explore and perhaps visit some craft shops and/or have a refreshment in one of the villages etc. The treasures of Fife await at almost every corner with each village having its own individual character and charm. A tour of delight awaits you!
This tour is a Half day excursion from Dundee or St Andrews area
Suitable for most ages and abilities although please be aware old villages were not designed for easy access and some areas may NOT be suitable for people with walking difficulties. Please check/advise in advance so we can tailor itinerary to suit.
Good footwear and warm weather resistant clothing is recommended
Tour Highlights: Scenic drive along the East Fife Coastal route and through beautiful agricultural farmlands, visit the villages of Crail, Anstruther, Pittenweem, St Monans, Elie and Ceres etc. Optional visits can be included to the following attractions; The Scottish Fisheries Museum, Kingsbarns Distillery, Eden Mill Brewery, Scotland's Secret Bunker or St Andrews Castle/Cathedral etc. Please Note; if you wish to visit any of the above optional attractions within the half day period for this tour then itinerary will be adjusted to accommodate. Alternatively, you may add on a visit to an attraction and the tour cost will adjusted up accordingly (Please advise in advance).
