Enjoy a private tour visiting the charming fishing villages of Fife, the historic village of Culross and the impressively fortified Stirling Castle. On this tour we start with a little drive through St Andrews and then take you on a journey of amazement off the beaten track. We visit the quaint and charming fishing villages in the East Neuk of Fife including Crail, Anstruther, Pittenweem, St Monans and Lower Largo etc. We then visit the historic village of Culross (aka Cranesmuir in the Outlander TV series) with plenty opportunity to explore these quaint little villages and experience their magical charm. In the afternoon, we visit the impressively fortified Castle in Stirling (the ancient capital of Scotland) where you have plenty time to have lunch and explore the Castle. We take an interesting route home. An altogether delightful day!
This tour is a full day excursion from Dundee or St Andrews area
Suitable for most ages and abilities although please be aware the Castle and east neuk villages were not designed for easy access and may not be suitable for people with walking difficulties. Please check/advise in advance so we can adjust itinerary to suit.
Good footwear and warm weather resistant clothing is recommended
