For the last 4 years we made use of Strachan Tours for airport service for our son during St.Andrews term breaks and for ourselves on a visit. They were always right on time and dependable, the rides smooth and comfortable and fast, and Paul Strachan had a real skill of knowing just when we wanted to interact and when we were too tired from the overnight flights or early morning departure hour to want to talk. Then last June at St Andrews graduation week we discovered that Paul also did tours. We arranged to take both the long day trip to Loch Ness, along with the somewhat shorter Secrets tour on another day that week. His tours were really terrific. Door to door of course and very well paced with interesting but not overwhelming information as we went along. The stops were nicely arranged in an order so that things just got better and better as the day went on - you might have been thinking you'd be getting jaded from having seeing so much already, but the next stop was always even better. And the trips were superbly timed too - we stopped at a set of locks just as a set of boats arrived to be passed through and then later pulled into what first looked to be an obscure train maintenance depot behind Interlochy Castle and then the Harry Potter train arrived! We are very pleased to pass Paul's name on with the highest recommendation to anyone we hear thinking of visiting Scotland.
